Beverly Hills Ninja (1997)

BEVERLY HILLS NINJA is just as dumb as you'd expect.  Chris Farley 
(BLACK SHEEP) endures every abuse imaginable as the nincompoop 
ninja who leaves his secret island enclave to help a blonde beauty 
(Nicollette Sheridan) crack a counterfeit ring.  Director Dennis 
Dugan (HAPPY GILMORE) isn't interested in subtlety-- his obstacle 
course for Farley includes furniture to be knocked over, an auto-
matic seat belt to be tangled with, and a pile of California doggie 
doo to be stepped in.  Very little is very funny, though, admitted-
ly, even *I* was unprepared for the half-moon that Farley flashes 
while on stage at a strip club.  His doing Demi is a sight that 
won't be topped any time soon.  (Rated "PG-13"/89 min.)
