NEXT STOP, WONDERLAND is an adorable Boston-based romantic comedy, about two total (and single!) strangers (Hope Davis and Alan Gel- fant), obviously meant for each other but whose paths never quite cross. Yeah, yeah, been there, seen that, but it works wonderful- ly well. That co-writer/director/editor Brad Anderson's film is also frightfully funny is just one of many reasons to recommend this easily overlooked gem... With Victor Argo, Cara Buono, Hol- land Taylor, Jose Zuniga, and, in a straigh role, comedian Robert Klein. (Rated "PG-13"/144 min.) Grades: A- Copyright 1998 Michael J.
