RALEIGH - Senior Firefighter Morgan James McLamb, 37, passed away after long illness on Thursday, May 23. The nine-year veteran was last assigned to Engine 8 on "C" platoon. He joined the Raleigh Fire Department on January 5, 2004. He is survived by his wife Amy, and his daughter Avery, age four, and his son Carson, age two. A memorial sevice was conducted on Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh on May 28, and he was buried in a private ceremony at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington. He was a good man and will be missed.
