WARRENTON - World's record attempt at longest fire engine parade as part of the Thirtieth Annual Warren County Fireman's Day. About 120 pumpers and about 144 fire department vehicles participated. Fire departments from counties including Craven, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Nash, Orange, Vance, Wake, and Warren. The parade started on Main Street, in front of the fire station. The route continued along Main Street, through the town. Before the parade, participating apparatus were judged in several categories. Following the parade, fireman's games were conducted at the Warren County Recreational Complex. Mike Legeros photographs.
