Here's a fast way to link to blog postings. Click the funny character in the upper-right corner, which displays a permanent link to the postings. For extra credit, what's that funny character called? No cheating please.
 





I believe it’s something to do with “sections”. I generally see them when a new section begins in case law reading or in legal contracts. Let’s go simple and say it is a “sections sign/symbol”.

Section sign-used for showing paragraphs, sometimes uses other symbols, depending on cultures (the degree work actually paid for once!!)
