09/05/09 65 W, 1 I - + 10 - 12 Lenoir City Hall and Fire Station?

Before the fire station relocated to Harper Avenue in 1969, the Lenoir Fire Department was housed at City Hall. Can anyone advise if this 1935 structure is still standing? Before this building, the fire department was located on North Mulberry Street. Is that building-- an earlier City Hall, built 1912?-- still standing, by chance?

Don’t know about the buildings, but check out the Ford C cab with the quad headlights, no roof light, and the sirenlight on the nose.

The 1935 structure has been demolished but the 1912 structure on Mulberry Street is still standing. It has been renovated over the years with a different front facade. City of Lenoir Public Information

Thanks for the info! From Sanborn and Google Maps, it looks like the old Mulberry Street station is the building with the Tax Express photo in this Street Maps view, http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s..
