08/15/10 61 W - + 6 - 4 Top Counties For Fire Stations

As compiled in the Summer 2010 issue of Carolina Fire Rescue EMS Journal, mixed with counties from South Carolina. Here's our state's top counties for fire stations:

  1. Wake - 75
  2. Guilford - 72
  3. Mecklenburg - 59
  4. Rowan - 42
  5. Buncombe - 41
    Cumberland - 41
    Forsyth - 41
  6. Robeson - 39
  7. Gaston - 36
  8. Brunswick - 34
  9. Wayne - 33
  10. Davidson - 32
  11. Randolph - 31
  12. Onslow - 30
  13. Johnston - 28

I saw this list published, and I immediately thought it was wrong.

I’ll have to check my lists, but something doesn’t pass the smell test.
