This fire was called in by CMPD’s helicopter, SNOOPY, reporting flames through the roof prior to FD arrival.

Indeed, when in the “right place at the right time” Snoopy is an excellent resource for an overhead shot. In fact, the initial 911 caller reported seeing Snoopy flying and then didn’t see the helicopter but saw lots of smoke coming from the apartments. This led them to believe that Snoopy had gone down. Snoopy was contacted and accounted for and gave the reports of fire through the roof. Station 24 is literally half a mile away with both trucks arriving on scene in 2 minutes.
