I don’t know, this seems sort of ‘tacky’. However, I am all about company or unit pride emblems on their apparatus. I used to see this in Maryland with emblems on the engines, ladders, rescues, and ambos, along with helmets. It is something you just don’t see around here. It creates a sort of competition amongst the troops.

I can see this working in a smaller department. But may become confusing in a department with multiple stations where personnel are routinely transferred. Although, I suppose a save by any crew is representative of that entire department, not just a select few. Just would make is difficult to have that sort of competition among the crews.
