Too easy… now for another one. Which two “aerial” trucks are set up (there “then” titles)? ...and which Engine is depicted in the lower left of the frame? (another easy one probably!).
A.C. Rich - 11/11/12 - 12:29

AC the Trucks are 1988 Pierce Snorkel Truck 22, 1990 Spartan Monarch / Simon-LTI Truck 11 and the Engine is Engine 22 1985 Pirsch.

Judging by the effect T-11 is having on the fire explains why someone needs to be on the tip.
Rescue Ranger - 11/11/12 - 20:02

Now boys…Man up…. due to water problems at this fire… What COUNTY tankers responded…....
The Man - 11/11/12 - 20:07

Ha!! ...I smell some CHEATERS!! I figured some would read Mike’s historical incident data and apparatus bios as only a few would remember which trucks they are (were)! As for tankers… I will cheat too: Let’s see… Cut-n-pasted: E15, E19, E22, T22, R19, C51, E11, E9, E21, T11, R7, C53, C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C10, C71, SR5, T16, SR20, special call E18 relief, Six Forks 126, Wake Forest E63, Falls E211, Rolesville tanker 157, 158, New Hope E1, tanker 10, tanker 11, tanker 12, Hopkins tanker 227. ..or look at: http://legeros.com/ralwake/raleigh/histo.. Also, RFD Car-72 was there too (me).
A.C. Rich - 11/11/12 - 21:50

AC "cheaters"? I knew the Snorkel had been at 1, 15 and 22. Truck 11 stood out like a sore thumb! The engine at the left was difficult but it wasn’t a Pierce and it was a two door cab with jump seats. That narrowed it down to a Mack. Pemfab or the Peter Pirsch. It doesn’t look like a Mack or a Pemfab so Pirsch was all that was left. The biggest question I had was Truck 15 or Truck 22! I did use Mike’s Raleigh Apparatus guide for the exact names of trucks. But that was all! So I made the right guesses.

Ha, ha!... yeah… good game guys! (Butt pats all around!)
A.C. Rich - 11/12/12 - 09:10

If I’m not mistaken, this took place in 1998 because we were listening to it while I was in the Academy. So the trucks were Truck 1 and Truck 11. Truck 15 at the time was the Seagrave, and it had a gray ladder. As for the Rescue, I think it was Rescue 7, prior to their move to 21.

Cuz its always good to put water on smoke right RR?
Smokey - 11/13/12 - 22:50

I stand corrected. I see the white Expedition that Car 51 had and the Frieghtliner Rescues. So it was sometime after 2000?
Pearce - 11/14/12 - 07:54

@Smokey – It’s called hydraulic ventilation!
Rescue Ranger - 11/14/12 - 10:07

I knew I was listening to it while I was at KTC. I was in First Class School at the time, not the Academy.
