Drop Zone (1994)

"Don't make me roll after you!" - Snipes

Wesley Snipes stars as a U.S. Marshall trying to ground a gang of aerial
hijackers. The stunts are great, the pace is quick, and Snipes makes an
agreeable action hero. When are we going to see a franchise for him?

The plot is swiss cheese, though, but that doesn't faze director John
Badham. He knows that skydiving sells, so he spends most of the film
throwing his stuntpeople out of airplanes and letting the rest of the
chips fall where they may.

One question: where are the Flying Elvises? (Rated "R"/107 min.)

Grade: B-
