The Trailer Park

Trolling the trailer park: the patchwork reel for Q.T.'s JACKIE
BROWN doesn't reveal much-- a few shots of the characters and a
snippet or two of dialogue. What more do you really need? The
clips from producer John Woo's THE REPLACEMENT KILLERS are cer-
tainly exhausting. Chow Yun-fat makes his American action debut
alongside... Mira Sorvino. Huh? The ads for SCREAM 2 are fall-
down funny, with a certain returning character again outlining a
set of rules. And then there's DESPERATE MEASURES, with Michael
Keaton as the imprisoned serial killer who has the power to save
the dying son of Andy Garcia's policeman. It looks intriguing,
I'll give it that, but did they have to give away the *entire* plot
in the space of two-and-a-half minutes? Jeez Louise.
