Isn't She Great? (2000)

ISN'T SHE GREAT? is an early candidate for Year's Worst. We're
talkin' hideous-times-ten in this Bette Midler-starring bio-pic
of Jacqueline Susann, the bestselling authoress of "Valley of
the Dolls." Between the bad acting, anything-goes tone, zero back-
ground information, Burt Bacharach's creepy lounge-music score,
and Nathan Lane's animatronic eyebrows, I pulled the emergency
brake at the thirty minute mark. Just dreadful. Andrew Bergman
(!) directs and Paul Rudnick (!!) writes.

Grade: F (extrapolated)
