When did Raleigh switch out E15’s 2006 Pierce Enforcer with one of the 2004 American La France engines. (noticed this in one of the photos.) and Why?

With the new rescue engine specs i wonder if Raleigh will get away from Pierce and switch over to a new manufacture
I can see Salisbury being a player.

Silver…yeah you probably right. Be interesting to see what the spec for these rescues. Not that there’s anything wrong with Pirece.

Saulsbury was purchased by Federal Signal in 2000 or 2001, they also own E-One. In 2004 the Tully NY based Saulsbury Fire Apparatus was closed by Federal Signal. The Saulsbury family now makes fiberglass bodies for fire trucks through Plastisol Composites North America.
