June 12 update. Four Wake County fire department explorer posts participated in yesterday's games: Fairview (two teams), Knightdale, Raleigh, and Stony Hill. The latter brought back a mess of trophies. There were also photos taken by Mr. Lee Wilson. More information forthcoming, as we've requested a run-down of everyone who participated and the results therein. Congratulations to all.

It was a great day for all and Wake County was WELL REPRESENTED! Warren County hosted a great event – very fun and competitive. One cannot emphasize how important our junior programs are and I for one appreciate each young person that participated. Stony Hill was awarded: Best Sportsmanship, Tug-of-War 2nd place, Knowledge-Based Oral 2nd place, “Relay Event” 3rd place, “Drink Break” 3rd place, Participant Award. Congrats to all!
